A modern day gangster film with a star studded cast. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe are the two main characters and the movie is directed by Ridley Scott. In this movie Denzel Washington plays Frank Lucas who is a mild mannered man who eventually becomes a drug lord, and Russell Crowe plays Richie Roberts, a very hones cop who does his job right but have his personal life in ruins. The movie shows how Frank Lucas slowly climbs the ladder to the top and how Richie Roberts realizes that it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a good guy if you’re honest and straightforward in your job.
