McFarland, USA (2015)

So, Disney makes another sports movie inspired by true events, what else is new? Well, it’s pretty much the same as every other stuff they made of this genre, true story, some funny stuff, and the works. What makes this movie different? It concentrates on another minority, Mexican Americans. I’ll admit the movie did show a peek into the Mexican American culture (by which I mean a fraction of an isolated community) but other than that it stuck pretty much to “the formula”.
