This Means War (2012)

Nothing really special about this movie, it’s one of those movies where you can guess most of the storyline from the trailer (My advice is to watch the trailer and be done with it). Here’s the story, CIA agents and best friends FDR Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck Henson (Tom Hardy) Fight over product testing executive Lauren Scott (Rees Witherspoon).
Hence the brilliant title “This means war”, my guess is that Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Rees Witherspoon wanted to do something stupid before they hit 40! Why would you want to make them a spy? Because of that they had to make the storyline complex which kind of ruins it. Not that it had any hope in the first place, but still they could have made it simple and neat. The movie is boring and predictable at the same time but it is a bit funny, especially Lauren’s friend Trish (Chelsea Handler). Despite the sudden bursts of laughter, overall the movie doesn’t do much. The unnecessary incorporation of “being a spy” into the whole mix was a kind of a gamble on the part of the people involved in the movie and unfortunately for them lady luck was miles away. Watch at your own risk.

"I was drunk" the answer to all stupid mistakes.
